birthday wish list

well, not until june but i'm already getting excited.  i'm one of those people that keeps a wish list all year long. (gotta love the amazon wish list) i just love birthdays! what's not to love? a whole day devoted to feeling special? sign me up. i thought i'd share some items that  i'm swooning over. aren't they lovely?

holiday wish list

I updated my Amazon Wish list a few weeks ago and it makes me happy just looking at it. Obviously I'm in to oxfords this season. There is a good mix of pretty things for the home and wardrobe, crafting tools, and household gadgets. Here are just a few of them. It was so hard to pick which ones to share! 

1. A nifty collapsable salad spinner from Bed Bath & Beyond, 2. some cute bow flats from Nordstroms, 3. A fun crafty large circle hole punch, 4. Away too expensive for right now but would love to have flash 5. These Chelsea Crew oxfords I've wanted for over a year but are also too pricey for me to justify buying myself

Just for fun I thought I'd share this fun travel book. Take a look inside! Super cute book with weekend trip plans. Would love to travel through this book with the husband some day.

hello lovely,
i have a problem. in my heart i believe less is more. i want to live simply and have less clutter. BUT deep deep within i'm also obsessed with kitschy nick-nacks. i can't help it. i want an army or ceramic deer, any odd shaped planter you can think of, and everything in between. as you can see these are two very conflicting ideals. so, i will live out my kitschy dream here on the blog and save the husband some extra dusting. all of these can be found on etsy if you can't life without it. just save the plate for me please.

the most wonderful time of the spring approaches

hello lovely,
well it is almost that time again... the clinch river spring antique festival is May 4-5th! twice a year downtown clinton is filled with tents upon tents of thrifted treasures. last fall we got a group of girls together to attend and i am so excited to see who all comes out for the spring fest. i have to keep myself under control this year so i'm making a list of specific vintage pieces i really want. i will TRY and avoid pyrex & broaches but i make no promises.
