an open letter of gratitude

I'm sitting in our hotel suite thinking back on this past weekend. I'm not sure I've ever felt so loved in my entire life. If you gave us a personal well wish before the big day, sent a kind text, left a sweet voicemail, helped us setup the tent, spent the whole day with us, helped us get ready, attended our ceremony, danced with us all night, or sent us off into the night with a line of sparklers we thank you. All of you helped to make this the greatest day of our lives. I am humbled by all the love we've received. We are blessed beyond measure. Saturday was flawless (except for a little bouquet issue Bubbie quickly remedied) For a year and a half we prayed for the perfect day and we got it. I'm a firm believer in the power of positive thought. The lake was flooded into the yard 2 days before the wedding and it rained the day after.  I believe that positive thought paid off and gave us the perfect day. I'm so grateful to you all. The wedding was exactly what we wanted it to be, a pure celebration of love. Not just the love Niles and I have for each other, but the love shared by our friends and family as well. All of you helped us achieve that goal. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts we thank you.

Now all that is left to do is carry that love with us always.

Say a little prayer that Niles feels better. He is coming down with an awful cold and is trying really hard to fight it off so we can enjoy our honeymoon.
