style envy: faye dunaway

hello lovely,

i've been inspired again. in the past 6 months i've watched bonnie and clyde twice and can't get enough Faye Dunaway. i can't get enough bonnie parker. i love the structure of her clothing in the film, the color palate, her accessories, and especially her eyeliner. i guess this is why i keep thinking about that mustard yellow sweater at forever 21 i passed on today. i may need to make a run to the mall tomorrow at lunch. don't tell niles. warren beatty is a knockout for sure, but i can't take my eyes off faye. she commands the screen and looks like a one chic badass. if you haven't seen the film, do yourself a favor.

 hello lovely!
my dear friend blake had a batman themed birthday party to celebrate the big 2-6. it was fun. his girlfriend made so many cute details to go with the theme. including a blue velvet birthday cake with yellow frosting, bat-a-rangs, batman coloring books, batman tattoos, and of course batman movies playing the whole time. since harry potter had come out the day before, bubbie and i decided to pretend it was a harry potter party too. (hence the photo above) here are a few pics from the fun night.

hello lovely,
we have internet! so, you will begin to see a series of "blog backup" posts from all the adventures i've been on without internet. here are the pictures i took from july 4th. it is my favorite holiday and this year was a pretty good one. a good friend from out of town came by, we dressed up super festive, played with sparklers, and saw fireworks over the water. a very nice holiday indeed.
